What I am actually working on, right now. Not a plan, not a list of intentions. If it is not here, I am not doing it.
Getting reCalm out
The app is finished enough to be embarrassing in public, which is the only definition of finished I trust. It shields the apps you choose through Apple's Screen Time picker, waits for one breath, and lets go after fifteen minutes whether or not you do anything. Right now I am doing the unglamorous half: store review, subscription plumbing, and deleting the screens nobody used.
Writing the journal
A hundred pieces are live at the journal. They are short and they are not listicles. The ones I would start with are autopilot scrolling, attention residue and bedtime procrastination. Most of what I know about this came out of reading what people say about their own phones, at some volume, and then trying to say it back without flattering anyone.
What I am not doing
No Android yet. No web app. No streaks, no scores, no badge that turns red when you miss a day. The whole point is a product that does not need you every day to be worth having.
About this page
This is a now page, an idea from Derek Sivers: the page you would point at if a friend asked what you are up to these days. If you have a site, you should have one.
