The shield does not appear

Shielding runs on Apple's Screen Time framework, so iOS has to allow it first.

  • Open iOS Settings, then Screen Time, and check that reCalm is allowed.
  • In the app, open the You tab and pick your apps again. iOS holds that choice, and it can be lost after a restore from backup.
  • A shield covers an app the next time it opens, not the app already on screen.

Breath Check cannot see me

Breath Check reads your shoulders with the front camera. Nothing is recorded and nothing is sent. It needs light on you, your shoulders in frame, and camera access in iOS Settings. If it still cannot read you, turn it off: the session runs on the timed pacer and works the same.

Manage or cancel a subscription

Subscriptions are held by Apple, not by us. Open iOS Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions, then reCalm. Cancel at least 24 hours before the period ends. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.

Restore a purchase

On a new phone, or after reinstalling, tap Restore on the paywall or in Membership. This asks Apple for purchases made with the Apple ID you are signed in with. A purchase made with another Apple ID cannot move to this one.

Refunds

Apple takes the payment, so Apple gives the refund. Ask at reportaproblem.apple.com. Write to us as well if something is broken, and we will help where we can.

Delete your account

Open the You tab, then Settings, then Delete account. Your synced data is erased from our servers. You can also ask us at saugatfiguresitout@gmail.com and we will act within 30 days.

Requirements

reCalm needs iPhone with iOS 17 or later. Shielding needs Screen Time, which Apple does not offer on every device or in every managed account.

Still stuck

Write to saugatfiguresitout@gmail.com with your iOS version and what you saw. A screenshot helps.
